We believe that every family is unique and deserving of inclusive care that is rich with compassion, education, and celebration of your growing family. Our mission is to help you achieve a healthy pregnancy and birth that is rooted in safety, connection, and trust. In a country with unacceptable rates of maternal mortality and morbidities, the midwifery model of care has proven to result in better outcomes and higher satisfaction for birthing families.
At Las Vegas Midwife we understand the importance of continuity of care. That's why we offer one-on-one, individualized midwifery care. You will have your midwife, and she will be the person serving you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. While we are blessed with a community full of midwifery options, we prioritize and specialize in providing concierge care that takes the time to give every family the attention and personalized approach they need and deserve.

At Las Vegas Midwife, we believe that birth is a beautiful and natural process that should be celebrated, nurtured, and normalized with a family-centered approach. Choosing a midwife that aligns with your goals can be an extensive process, especially in Nevada where anyone can call themself a midwife. The best place to start is asking yourself, “What kind of birth do I want?” There are different types of midwives with different philosophies, services offered, and credentials held. Some have a formal education and some do not. Some train in hospitals, while others have specific training and expertise in out of hospital birth. Researching the different types of credentials and verifying the midwife’s current standing with their board can offer valuable insight. Ask about the pros of working with them, and the cons of the other environments and compare between your interviews. It is important to interview multiple midwives and most of all to trust your intuition when deciding who is the best fit for you.
Here is an excellent resource with interview questions to ask your midwife candidates. https://www.mothermag.com/questions-to-ask-a-midwife/
If at any point your original birth plan or choice of care provider feels like it is no longer the right fit for you, prioritize finding a new plan. It is not too late to switch to a new care provider or place of birth that feels most aligned with the experience you want.
We offer free one-on-one, in-person consults to discuss the goals and desires you have for your experience. We review our qualifications to care and informed consent to home birth.
